The Story

Muzik Over Matter is a U.S.-based music collective showcasing the talents and collaboration of select U.S. and Canadian music companies. Founded by Jay Vernon, Chemist Productions (the late Christopher Cobb), and U.S. music executives Bobby Adams and Will Swan, the team also includes Tyrone Parsons, Nick, and Rico from Canada and Los Angeles.

Originally named Music Over Matter, the company began in Canada in 2006, focusing on music production with contributions from Chemist Productions and Jay Vernon. Tyrone Parsons, also known as Knucklehead from Trailer Park Boys (Netflix fame), was the first artist signed, alongside co-founder Pauly. The Crazed Classics album, featuring Parsons, Vernon, and other Nova Scotia artists, sold approximately 9,000 units and built a strong local fanbase.

In 2025, the remastered album will be released under Muzik Over Matter, with fans gaining the opportunity to own parts of the project as NFTs. We’re thrilled to bring this to life!
